It gives comfort on the epipen needle length and also thought it is important to know to use the other thigh for a second epipen injection.

@fairiedemon - they have ‘officially’ extended the shelf life of th epipens for adults by about 4 or 6 months (have to google to check)... not for juniors though

DD has been prescribed adrenaline and I can't get hold of one. Every pharmacy I phone is telling me just to use the old injector if necessary but she doesn't have one at all yet.

Good to know about the needle being effective though as I was vaguely aware of it being under question.

I also carry epipens but thankfully have a set well in date.

Same here. Good to know the life has been extended by 6 months, that gives me chance to get hold of new ones.

I didn't know to use the other thigh for a second injection either.
