Milk ladder - won’t eat cheese

Hello. We are currently doing really well on the milk ladder. Luckily my 11month old daughter only has CMPA, we have reached cheese this week - but she won’t eat it!
I have tried regular cheddar, babybel, laughing cow triangles, cream cheese but she won’t have any of them.
It is quite a flavour if you’ve never had it before but I think she genuinely dislikes it judging by her face.
All the milk ladders I have looked at simply say ‘cheese’ for this stage, but if I can’t get my daughter to eat it are there any alternatives I could try - something of equivalent dairy value?
Thank you

Is Fromage Frais cheese?

I think it's a good idea to offer new foods several times so they get accustomed to the taste and texture.
What about trying Edam which is mild and soft textured, perhaps cut into cubes and offered with something that she does like?
Or cheese on toast made with something like Leerdammer, or a cheese sauce with a vegetable that she likes?

Yes, try a few other things, but don't get stressed about it. All babies are different and like different things, she might never like cheese! Smile
Don't worry, just enjoy your meal times together.

Have you tried baking it into a muffin or something similar? I am not sure whether this would do something to the protein and hence defeat the whole milk-ladder thing. Can your allergenist put you in touch with a nutritionist who specialises in children with allergies?

@verybookish cooked cheese is down on the milk ladder so that wouldn’t work - great idea tho.
Gonna persevere for a bit and keep offering it to her then if that fails I will give her dietician a call.
