tomato allergy?

This is a bit vague sounding but my 2 year old gets a bright pink rash every time he eats something with a tomato based sauce. Spag Bol, that sort of thing.

We wipe his face and it looks like we haven't, you could draw round the rash!

It doesn't bother him and does fade, should we worry or just keep an eye on it, or write down how often it occurs?

My eldest had a cmpa as a baby and severe eczema. The 2 year old does get intermittent eczema too so we are used to dealing with allergies.

I don't want to bother the GP unnecessarily, is it likely to get worse or will he grow out of it?

I realise this is a bit odd sounding but if anyone had any ideas that would be great.

DS has this, he's also 2. I don't worry about it and wipe it off. Having seen the consultant for some fairly strong food allergy reactions I've not even bothered raising this one, especially as it clears without the need for piriton and displays as just a contact rash.

If it's not bothering him, current advise is to keep feeding it to him and not worry unless it worsens
