Could CMPI 14mo be reacting to Aptamil Pepti 2? At a loss with dd's eczema outbreak

I'm really confused at the minute with DD and her seemingly constant eczema outbreaks.

I exclusively breastfed until she was 12.5months but used the Alpro soya 1+ or oatly in meals. When I stopped bf I went to the doctors to ask for a formula as oat milk isn't recommended until 2 as the main milk and I didn't want her having so much soya.

But it seems that around the same time as she started drinking the formula her eczema has had an awful breakout and isn't fully under control. I really dislike using steroid cream on her - especially her face.
The only other thing that coincided with the outbreak was a nasty croup virus she had for about 3 weeks. She still has a bit of a cough and constant runny nose and I'm also wondering if it could be hayfever now!?

I've got an appt at the docs for next week to see what she thinks, but I'm struggling to know what to do about the eczema as she only had one small patch before I stopped bf and now she has bits all over.

Any suggestions or anyone experienced similar?

Ah right that is really interesting thank you.
The eczema is like scaly scab patches - more like an impetigo type thing but not weepy.
Aptamil is the only milk I've tried so will suggest this to the doctor. It seems like too much of a coincidence for it to have all flared up at the same time as starting the milk.

Well done for breastfeeding for 12 months and don't beat yourself up, there are plenty of things that will fall into that category!

Get Lucy Burney's Optimal nutrition for babies and toddlers for information on the sources of nutrition and compare the nutritional content of Aptamil Pepti 2 and see if you think you can source this nutrition elsewhere (you can!!) You would need to adapt her diet and it does take work and research but you can survive and thrive without milk.
