My dd has following 'issues' :
Frequent vomiting/posseting
Occasionally will have period of burping then screaming in pain
Goes 3/4 days without pooing (normal for bf babies I know) but is v uncomfortable with it- v stinky farts, strains and arches back while feeding.
Poor sleep generally.
I tried eliminating milk for 10 days, wasn't convinced I saw a difference so started eating but again on Monday. Last few days have been horrendous, she's in lots if discomfort especially overnight.
GP wasn't helpful, so I don't know what to do now. Should I cut out dairy again? Who should I try to get advice from?
TIA!

Have you tried dried / formula goats milk?
My DS developed a sensitivity to cows milk after a tummy bug and had terrible stomach problems, but a few weeks of goats milk set him back on track. I found it in a local chemist - it was expensive, but only a temporary measure.

10 days isnt long enough to make a significant difference. however if you have reintroduced milk and thought that severe symtoms returned, it might be worth trying again.

take care with yr diet re calcium. etc. look after yourself you need to eat well.

the reason it takes so long (7-8 weeks to see clear difference.) its that intolerence does inflame gut, and as we cant give gut a rest from working, so it takes longer to heal!!

For some with milk allergy/intol problems this may help, but its hard to pinpoint other allergies. Either way if baby does have intol or allergy to milk or other foods you need further medical support and advice.

now, you didnt mention babies age and if before age of soild foods or not?

what other steps have you taken to cope with reflux etc?
