DD is nearly 10mo and still ebf. She has always been a difficult sleeper but I noticed that she slept much worse if I gave her any milk products. So I totally cut out milk/cheese etc (she is fine with eggs) and then:
Last week I tried her on lactose free milk (in cereal) and lactose-free cream cheese. She had a few slightly worse than normal nights but then one good night sleeping, which confused me.
On Tuesday this week I gave her some cheese and yoghurt. She slept ok that night. Continueds giving cheese and yoghurt and had terrible nights Weds and Thurs - up every half an hour.
I'm finding it all very confusing, and its difficult to know what is just conincidence when she has a bad night. She is absolutely fine during the day, happy, nappies normal, skin fine etc.
I would like to replace her daytime breastfeeds with formula but don't know whether I need lactose free, soya, or something else? Is it all just trial-and-error or is there a test she can take eg skin prick? Or is that just for allergies not intolerances?
Sorry have so many questions and am seeing the GP this afternoon so want to be able to arm myself with some information/advice first!

Allergies and intolerances
Does this sound like lactose/CMP intolerance?
