Allergies and intolerances

How should I go about finding out if ds2 has any nut allergies?

Ds2 had a few allergies when young (egg, dairy, lentils, fish) and now seems fine with most things except cheese.
He did have skin prick tests and all those things came up positive with a result of 3-4mm including peanuts.
He's never had peanuts or any other nuts.
He's 3 now and I think we should try to find out before he starts nursery if he has any nut allergys.
Should I try giving him something with nuts?
I don't want to try peanuts yet but what about almonds or hazlenuts or csomething?

I would go back to the allergy clinic and get them to repeat the tests.

Don't do it yourself!! He may well still be allergic, and he may be allergic to other nuts that you try. It's possible he is fine just because you've been avoiding nuts completely.

My daughter ate one nut accidentally, after 8 years of positive skinprick testing, and went into anaphylactic shock. I really wouldn't mess with it outside medical supervision.
