Hi All,

I want to adopt before applying I have a question - me and my partner in 2015/2016 had 3 police call outs to our address for arguing 1 time our children were home - just want to add thin walls and a neighbor who used to complain about the tumble dryer noise * it was resulted no further action however they are still concerned that there have been 3 call outs so suspect domestic violence but we never heard from them again we moved to a house (previously a flat) six months after in the same borough .... so question is - how will this look? Will child services share full details I assume that they will - or will it be no further action ect ....

I lost my son a while back and don’t want to apply to be told no at the first hurdle

Thankyou for your time and non judgement

You will be able to talk this through with agencies before you apply to get there view on it.

Sorry for the loss of your child.

I don't know how they will view it but you absolutely must disclose this upfront because if they hear it from anyone else first they won't take the lack of openness well.

I’m sorry for your loss. I’d speak it through with sw, if they’re concerned they’ll be able to check the police records which will tell them more about what happened from the police point of view. We’re sw involved at that time? Police would usually pass concerns about domestic abuse on to sw if there were children in the house at the time so sw would also check their own records.
