23 days after panel.... I'm matched!! Soooo excited ( and really scared but that's normal yeah??!!)
My daughter (how amazing to be able to say that!) is 4 and should be with me by end of May!
So what happens now? I know matching panel is in a few weeks but apart from that?

congratulations !

Lots of meetings, with SWs, medical advisor, FC etc, you may get it all rolled into one with a life appreciation day.
You should get more information so you can think about decorating her room, shopping for car seats etc.
fill the freezer, have a last haircut in peace, laze about on the weekends. Go out with friends - it may be a while before you can again
Have fun, its an exciting time

Congratulations.

Enjoy your time without a child because child will soon be there!

Declutter a bit!

Enjoy your bit of freedom. Such great news.

Congratulations! Others have given good advice, but maybe stock up on a few age and stage appropriate (nothing scary, no Paddington etc) dvds for snuggling up in the early days, order a few Todd Parr books and make sure you put together a basic sick child kit (Calpol, plasters, thermometer) so you feel appropriately mummy-ready if the settling-in lurgy hits.

Apologies! Or daddy-ready...shouldn't have assumed.

Thank you everyone.
Been decluttering like a mad woman today.... I'm nesting ( so I'm telling myself!) Its quite therapeutic getting rid of the old ready for the new.
Going through my wardrobe thinking more racing around soft play centres and zoos rather than nights spent in cocktail bars!
Dvd's is a good shout ( need to buy a DVD player as well lol)
My mum bought me a ' medicine box ' full of plasters, calpol etc... and nit lotion!! Ha ha

Yeah I know Topcat.... it was really fast. I had expressed interest the week before my panel after seeing her profile on our local site. I'm glad it was quick as I'm the world most inpatient person!

Lovely news! We're waiting on a matching panel date and SW has advised us to think about the boys we're adopting, in terms of how we will be able to meet their needs. This includes reading up on different types of attachment issues, we've also reread our PAR to get back in that kind of reflective headspace (if that makes sense). As well as decluttering lol.
