Is this my joyous 'I'm matched' moment?!

This may be a stupid question but how do you know when you are matched? I always read the 'I'm matched' posts on here with such joy. Now it is happening to us I'm not sure if this is our moment or not!! It's all happened so quickly I am struggling to comprehend. We went to panel 4 weeks ago. It was mentioned we were being considered for a LO a few weeks ago. Court case went through on Friday and LO released for adoption. Phone call today said we has been selected - not a competitive situation as with our own local authority. Crumbs, even writing that is exciting!! What happens next?! Xx

Well I guess you're kind of matched in theory but in practice don;t you have to have a matching panel even if it's uncontested (as it were)?

What happens next is SS need to share a bunch more info with you (fc reports, medical reports etc), you'll probably meet LOs SW, FCs etc.

There's still time for you to decide it's not the right match for you (and, technically, for SWs to decide same), and then you'll be off to matching panel. Once matching panel says yes, intros will likely happen quickly. LO won't hear about you til matching panel has approved the match.
