EHCP

A few months ago I posted about my child's destructive behaviour and during the discussion was advised by some posters (Goldmandra?) to visit the IPSEA website and apply myself. Well, many phone calls, meetings, 'discussions' and assessments later we have just heard that the plan was accepted at the last panel of the year! This means he will be able to start at a speech and language unit in September for Reception, giving him the positive start to school he so needs and without another change of school at some point in the Autumn term. Thanks for your advice and support again!

We too have just finished the New EHCP for our two (replaces the old statement system) took us 12 months is very detailed , have been able too access and explore many areas and has resulted in our children, now receiving attention support, diagnostic / medical investigations. All maybe little too late., Lot's of issues which we were not aware of prior too Adoption surfaced as a result of EHCP.
