Sorry no questions or advice needed. not today.
I had seen this on pinterest and thought it would be a good thing to tell your beautiful children if they ever question if being adopted is a good thing.
Really im just hoping this puts a smile on peoples faces. As I have read some not so nice replies recently.
Thanks for looking GrinFlowersCake

Thinking about it Superman is even transracially adopted like DS!

Superman is a transspecies adoption. Imagine what SS would make of that in an assessment? Wink

Rogue is my all time favourite adopted superhero by the way

And this seems the appropriate place to point out that I'm still miffed about the X-Men movies cutting out the backstory of Mystique being Rogue's adoptive mother. I mean, come on, it was a great storyline. And because they cut it out, Rogue was also really underpowered. All through watching X-Men 1, I thought to myself "this Rogue is really annoying and boring. Come ON, in the comics and tv series you could fucking FLY. And punch through walls. Oh look, here comes the amazing evil woman who is supposed to be YOUR MUM. What's wrong with this film?"

Oh look, everyone's shaking their head at me, saying "let it go, Lilka. Let it go" Grin

I did actually think that Superman is a inter-planetary adoption as opposed to our fairly run of the mill inter-country one.

Is Batman adopted? I know he's orphaned.

Are you interested in Batman Tinkly do you think you would be a good match?

I think technically he has a guardianship rather than adoption - I think Alfred is his legal guardian.

Harry Potter was fostered too. Ok that wasn't the most successful private fostering arrangement (where was the social worker, poor boy) but still. He ended up pretty awesome.
