Breakdown of adopters and children waiting

There are new figures on the Adoption Link website that show a breakdown of the children waiting for adoption at this point in time - eg by age, needs etc. Also for the adopters waiting, their criteria etc. Just those that are on Adoption Link mind you.

We are on this website and when logged in it says there are just over 300 adopters which mean just over 200 profiles are being hidden probably because a match is or has happened, so I wouldn't say it is necessarily accurate. Having said that we registered on there because told in our area there are very few children waiting (who have been through legislative process for a placement order) so the difference in number between the two wouldn't surprise me.

scrap that lol! OH just said it was right and I'm getting my SW number muddled up with my adopter numbers. Doh! Interesting stuff!

thank you for posting this tigger. I'm a FC and my LO has just joined the statistics. I was deeply upset that someone rejected him after seeing his profile, but I'm now more hopeful, looking at the criteria, that there could be over 200 people prepared to take him on with all his little foibles!

Interestingly my local adoption team don't seem at all keen to put my FC on any of these databases. Grrrrr.
