Totally outing myself...

we are page 88 of January Psychologies magazine. My hair looks terrible, DS looks divine. So all normal then!

Ooh. I might have to buy it.

I remember your Xmas in Uz thread and your blog. Wow, you have come such a long way!

Kewcumber Sat 07-Dec-13 23:49:49

well the football training is really rugby training but ha haha hahahahahaha at the idea of me getting out to a jazz club these days...

MrsM2509 Sun 08-Dec-13 14:28:19

I've seen this magazine in supermarket but never bought it, I will today tho. Also training to be a mental health nurse so it might come in handy

I was in Redbook (US version of Red) with something I did at work and I got a free copy. I'd sulk if I were you.

MrsM I don't think there's any actual psychology in it. I'd listen to your lecturers instead I'd say.

Kewcumber Tue 10-Dec-13 10:29:28

I am sulking. It's not working. I am quite psychological in it - listen to me.

Kewcumber Tue 10-Dec-13 10:29:52

Actually that post makes me sound really quite deranged. <<twitch>>

Lilka Tue 10-Dec-13 19:07:33

I didn't really detect any difference between the 'deranged' and 'normal' you there Kew wink

Kewcumber Tue 10-Dec-13 19:42:40

So, so, so... Have you looked yet Lilka? <<ignores insults>>

Lilka Tue 10-Dec-13 20:56:39

<runs away>

In my defence - It wasn't in the little supermarket nearest my house. Swear on me life guv'nor, it weren't there! I'll find it when I next go into town. I'll make a special detour to WHSmiths, they'll definitely have it. Good enough?

DrHolmes Tue 10-Dec-13 21:03:08

I buy this mag every month. Love it!

Kewcumber Tue 10-Dec-13 21:11:02

It is a particularly discerning magazine - they only invite the best people (with the scruffiest hair) to participate

Devora Tue 10-Dec-13 23:56:09

I've got it! Your hair looks fiiiiine, laydee.

AnAdventureInCakeAndWine Wed 11-Dec-13 00:11:35

I'll read it in the supermarket. If your hair has good long-term amusement potential I may even buy a copy... grin

Moomoomie Wed 11-Dec-13 09:51:11

Guess what I've just read in Sainsburys ? To tight to buy it I'm afraid, Kew, your son is gorgeous. And there is nothing wrong with your hair.

Kewcumber Wed 11-Dec-13 12:39:40

MY HAIR IS SCRUFFY - whats wring with you lot - are you follically challenged. But yes DS is gorgeous isn't he - it's a nice pic of him.

Moomoomie Wed 11-Dec-13 13:47:47

Who cares if your hair is scruffy so is Bob Geldof's and we still love him. grin

Kewcumber Wed 11-Dec-13 13:50:35

You think comparing me to Sir Bob is going to help? hmm hmm

Moomoomie Thu 12-Dec-13 17:47:34

fgrin fgrin
I love Sir Bob. I reckon he pays a fortune to have his hair like that, and yours comes naturally. How lucky are you?

Lizzylou Thu 12-Dec-13 17:54:05

I saw that article and obviously guessed it was you grin
You both look extremely happy, great article.

Lilka Thu 12-Dec-13 21:13:17

After ALL this hair build up, and all this anticipation, I was expecting something like this

But what did I get when I looked at it in Smiths today? Normal hair. Normal hair

Your DS is absolutely one of the most handsome little 7 year old boys there is smile

You got the 'I can't take my eyes off my beloved boy' pose off to a tee Kew

Devora Thu 12-Dec-13 21:15:12

Yeah, was that look really a smiley-mouth-glaring-eyes-don't-you-dare-mess-about-I-just-want-to-get-this-photo-over-and-we-can-all-go-home kind of of thing?

Kewcumber Thu 12-Dec-13 21:20:27

it is scruffy (humph) When it is perfect, it does a gentle little flicky out thing at the bottom not a scramble. And at the beginning of the shoot it was perfect (humph)

DS would say very crossly "I'm EIGHT"

But he is cute handsome isn't he.

Thats exactly the look it was by then Devora

Lilka Thu 12-Dec-13 21:43:31

If THAT'S scruffy, what the fuck is my hair???

namechangesforthehardstuff Thu 12-Dec-13 22:00:36

Disclaimer - have not been to the newsagent to check this out yet. BUT am fairly sure they don't let you be in Psychologies magazine as the poster people for adoption unless everyone scrubs up well...

Kewcumber Thu 12-Dec-13 22:39:59

Not only is my hair scruffy but my recycled child one-upmanship on the eco nappy thread was soundly ignored by everyone except MrSDV.

I htink people are scared to comment on it - is adoption humour the equivalent of morgue humour for doctors?
