Grin Grin

How did one year go by sooo fast! Taking a quick minute out to write this because the birthday princess is round for tea here tonight. And has a party at her house planned for this weekend as well!

She's soooo lovely. She gets more beautiful every day, and also more mobile as she's walking, which is a mixed blessing. Major and constant supervision now necessary for madam Grin

:)

She's like the queen with two birthdays Smile

Great that there's some sunshine in your life even if it's just for one day.

How is that possible?! Shock Surely she's about 5 months old?

I am not a year old than I was a year ago.

Sounds like a lovely weekend - even if she's not really 1.

Hope you had a fantastic birthday tea.
A year gone already. And, soon you get to do it all over again with another wonderful grandchild.

Thanks all! We had a lovely tea :) Birthday itself was just for close family, the party will be quite big, lots of friends there to spoil princess GD even more Grin SIL wants to do a barbecue so hope for nice weather please!

I'll be able to meet some of DD1's birth siblings again there (does anyone here remember a coupe of years back when DD1 and her younger sibling got into contact via facebook? Well they are still in contact and happy in their reunion, which is very good for DD1. I just wish that was the only facebook contact issue i ever got involved with!)

Anyway, I got some of yesterday's photos today, and she is such a scrumptious Grin Such a big smile on her face most of the day as well :)

You know, I have no baby photos of DD1 whatsoever, no photos till she is school aged in fact. So I find myself poring over these photos of DGD, picking out features I think are inherited from DD and wondering what DD1 looked like when she was 1 year old. What I'd give to have her from 1 year old...

...and that is why I am so grateful that two of my three girls were 6 month old babies when they came home.
It has made a hell of a lot of difference to their attachment, and I am sure their FASD would be worse if they had not come home so soon.
Have a super party weekend. We are off in the motor home so am hoping for good weather all over the country.
We are taking the children out of school for the afternoon, to get a head start on the weekend!
