Mirror Newspaper LEGO Offer - HELP!

Hi,
I have a 5 yr DS and 3 and half weeks ago we posted off for the Mirror Lego Offer(12 sets, a playmat and a box)
Lo and behold it appears it's been lost in the post (cheque not been banked yet, so can only assume).
DS is checking the post everyday waiting very patiently for his lego, bless him
I have tried finding a number or email for the Mirror to see if there is anything they can do, but they all seem to be journalist numbers on their website.
Can anyone help????
I really don't want to upset and disappoint DS by telling him it's not coming. Bloody Royal Mail and their strikes have a lot to answer for!!!

i dont think anyone has had thier lego yet, we had to wait ages for the star wars lego so im expecting the same long wait this time, my ds also checks the post every day

It might not have been sent out yet if it is the latest sets.
There should be a contact number in the paper. Or just phone any one of the numbers and ask them for the number.

The paper had said they'd be sent out in at least 28 days...which is why I was getting worried

i dunno if hte cheque has been banked i never looked, i remember reading they would be sent out 28 days after the offer had closed, am looking for my cheque book to see when i sent the cheque away cos then i should be able to work out 28 days

ok found the cheque book and i wrote and posted the cheque on the 31st oct and the offer was still going on to collect the toys in store, i am not going to expect it for at least another 2 weeks possibly 3

Last year the sets arrived very close to Christmas IIRC.

Feeling a bit happier now thanks, ours would've gone in the post much same time as yours clayre so i'll hang on in hope for few more weeks yet.
I'll keep watching this thread and if it arrives i'll let you know and vise versa if that's ok with you.
Not done one of these offers before so not very clued up on how long they take to get them out.
