Looking for recommendations for a rowing machine. So if you have one, and love it, I'd like to know which one you have Grin

you can't go wrong with Concept but they aren't cheap

Definitely Concept but even second hand or reconditioned ones are pricey.

What is your budget and do you want fancy integrate screens and guided workouts?

The standard answer to this is the Concept 2 - as it’s the most common, most rowing info and apps are based on the times etc you get from using this. Unless there’s a particular reason why it doesn’t work for you - too expensive or too noisy for where you want to put it. It’s too noisy for us, we wanted a rowing machine to be in the living room and to be able to watch tv easily without disturbing others. So we got a water rower, which we’re happy with, but limits the data sharing you can do compared with the concept 2.

If you get one @SweetsAndChocolates please start gently - don't do what my daft old dad did. He thought it was so wonderful that he went at it hammer and tongs - and did his back in. Then asked us if we wanted to have a go - er, no. We didn't fancy being doubled up in pain. He tried to put a brave face on it but we weren't fooled.

I had a Concept for years. I loved her dearly, and we rowed together for literally thousands of kilometers. Eventually I had to give up and sold her but she's one of my great memories, and I still have the pic of her onboard recorder showing that I had rowed 100 km in 10 hrs 31 minutes, non stop (except for pee breaks).

Still miss her. COncept have an active, thriving online community and organise team events etc. Great fun!

Concept 2 - it’s an excellent machine and splits in two very easy for storage if necessary. We love ours.
