Sorry if this is too early for some of youGrin But I have a lot to buy so I need to at least starting thinking! DS is 5. He does not need any toys as my house looks like Smyths toys and he doesn’t even look at the majority of them. He doesn’t need clothes either really as it was his birthday at the end of august and he got a lot of clothes then. He’s in to football so maybe something to do with that but god knows what. Oh and he has an iPad and he sometimes goes on his dads Xbox for a little while so can’t even get something like that. Poor little things going to end up with nothing at this rateGrin

Membership to a local attraction? I really want to do this for my son but it's hard to steer my DH away from a mountain of presents.
Some zoo's also offer a day with the keeper experience.
I'm asking the family for some board games for my 5yo that we can play together. It is difficult though and I've just had another baby so the present mountain will be increasing!

Stuff for his room? Like new bedding, rug, bedside lamp. A watch or smart watch. Headphones. Pyjamas, hot water bottle. Football kit and boots.

We’re getting our five year old the next stage up bike, a new helmet and some accessories to go with it.

Yoto’s are often mentioned on here. Or perhaps a handheld console if you can splash the cash? Ours loves the Nintendo Switch.

This year we’re getting DD some toys she’s requested, and have suggested to GPs:

  • pyjamas
  • pants/socks/hat/gloves
  • fun bath stuff (Lush/jelly bath)
  • a poster and fairy lights for her room
  • puzzles and board games
  • books
  • a blanket fort kit
