How to declutter clothes of different sizes

I have clothes from the last 5 years in sizes from
12/14 to 20.

Half term plans have been cancelled so I thought I would try and declutter some clothes but I have no idea where to start.

I have work and casual (summer and winter) clothes in every size, for example I have about 12 swimming costumes in different sizes. Most things are in great condition. I am size 20 at the moment and am back on SlimmingWorld / Gym trying to get back to a good weight for a big holiday next July.

Please help - how on earth can I organise my clothes Blush

Thanks

I'd organise by size, vacuum bag in size 12, 14, 16, 18. Then as you lose weight can bring down the relevant size and switch out for your current wardrobe.
I'm about to do this (size 14, wanted to get back to a 10 but now pregnant) - so I'm going to store all my 10s and 12s until post-baby to see if I can slim back into them then!

I'll take anything worn out to the cloth recycling bank first though! The vacuum bags will go in the loft.

Agree with PP. I have a wicker basket on top the wardrobe with 2 layers of next size down and the next.

If you have a loft, dedicate a box or two / suitcase up there. Or under bed.

I love a star chart for weight loss- 6 weeks then when hit a goal, go to the next set of clothes and ruthlessly chuck anything that's become too big so there's less temptation to let a couple of pounds increase slide.

FWIW I would only keep the really good stuff - if you slim from a size 20 down to a size 12 you’ll want new stuff to show off your new figure! Anything worn but still good take to the charity shop
