Insulate Britain are just awful

TikTok of the pain Insulate Britain are causing.

That poor women. You can hear the pain in her voice.

These people are absolutely heartless.

How many lives are they going to negatively impact before they just shut the fuck up.

Nobody will listen to them because of the way they are going about things.

I cannot get my head around hearing that woman pleading and them arrogantly standing there saying "the police will move us soon anyway" 😡😡😡

Is there not something they can do under the new laws around protesting?

(Namechanged because I reckon this will probably link to my account somehow, not that I post anything on there, but I do rant about people on here sometimes 😂)

I would have been grabbing them by the scruff of the neck.

I agree. They’re awful. There are many other ways they could protest their cause.
I think I would’ve got the fire extinguisher out of my car and squirted them with it. Sod the charges I would inevitably face… I can’t imagine how it would feel to try and get an ill relative to the hospital and being prevented by these morons.

Its just beyond awful.

That video really affected me so how they can be standing there shrugging their shoulders and not giving a shit is unthinkable. Bunch of sanctimonious sociopaths.

They don't care about the environment, not really. If they did, there are far bigger fish to fry. All they care about is anarchy and being able to protest about something and they aren't bothered what it is, as long as they cause disruption to people's lives and hassle for the police.

That’s awful. How can anyone be heartless enough to have the power and capability to help someone in that position and do nothing? It makes no sense that people who are ultimately supposed to be trying to do a good thing would be so cruel.

They are selfish tossers, so convinced of their own self-righteous piety that they don’t care who they hurt by blocking ambulances. If the police don’t do their jobs and deal with them, these protests will soon turn very, very ugly. It only takes the patience of one driver to snap...

I saw the GMB interview where the guy admitted he didn't really care about the lady who was paralysed by a stroke whilst caught up in one of their protests, and also admitted he didn't live by the standards IB have either before he walked off.

I think you're right though, they want to protest something and get to give each other a pat on the back and feel better than us.

You have to be a real monster to not give a shit when this lady is pleading to go to the hospital to be with with her Mum. I really hope she got there.

A vile bunch of people. The authorities need to get a grip of this situation, they have allowed them to cause too much chaos already .

I cannot get my head around these protests. I don't even know what they want really, and I do follow the news. Who do they want to pay for and arrange insulation? Who needs to be insulated as far as they are concerned?

Having spent the 18 months before she died shuttling my mum back and forth to hospital that woman’s voice brought me to tears. It’s only going to be so long before they cross the wrong person and something awful (but I hate to say understandable) happens to one of those protesters.

In my opinion they’re doing more damage than help. When you interfere with people’s lives like that it instantly puts them more against you and your associated cause.

Bit like fathers for justice hanging of bridges 🙄

Selfish twunts. I'd be ashamed to be related to any of them.

I am wondering when U.K. will clamp down on these protesters. They are a public menace. They don’t care about the environment or safety because they’ve spilled paint and oil on motorway surfaces....poisons environment and lethal skid risk to vehicles and motorcycles.

They shouldn’t be arrested at 8am and then be back blocking the motorway again at 1pm on the same day. They need to arrest them and detain them for at least 24hrs. And the worst repeat offenders should potentially be detained until trial (as that new law allows unlimited funds and 2yr sentence?) . I saw a photo of one protester who had a sign saying he’d been arrested four times!

This is heartbreaking. I could cry for that woman, and really admire her restraint because I think I would have kicked those bastards into next week if I were her. Angry

They don't really make the point of their protests clear, I really had to look into what they actually wanted and why, but my anger at what they do and how they do it overrides me agreeing with their agenda.

If I saw someone asking for help like that I would do everything in my power to help them, most of us would, but they literally went out of their way to make her life that bit worse. It would have taken 2 minutes to let her pass and go and be with her mum.

Thank you @Namechangecoztiktokwillout
I am so grateful that I never came across anything like this. For the obvious delay reasons but also because I would have ended up being arrested for ABH or something if someone had tried to stop me getting to my mum with dementia.

Absolute bunch of pricks, there's a video of men dragging these useless pieces of shit off the road to try and let an ambulance past - I'd be surprised if they dont get a real pasting soon

They want every single home in the UK insulated by 2040 or something. But what they fail to see is while they block a road hundreds of cars are idling and causing even more pollution. All seems a bit misguided and hypocritical really. How nice to see a Vicar not giving a damn about the Ambulance desperately trying to get through!! Where were his Christian values then? I saw footage later on of these protesters being physically removed off the road by several men who were totally pissed off. The Police say they are powerless to remove them. Really? There are laws about stopping emergency vehicles in their progress and Jay walking laws so why aren't they being used??
