Okay, who's got a happy thought?

All the doom, gloom and despair - dammit, we need some pretty pink and blue thoughts!

I'm here with a glass of chilled NZ sav' blanc, watching Mamma Mia (yes, it's early, cliche, and I'm hormoanal), and DH is cooking roast chickybabe with all the trimmings for tea.

It's been a beautiful warm day.

Anyone else?

I am having a lovely day- done some errands, cooked a lovely meal, enjoying relaxing with my favourite people.

That sounds lovely - something attempted, something done, has earned a night's repose! And with your favourite people too.

The sun is shining, my dd just made me a cup of tea and the beef roasting in my oven smells awesome.

Just ordered Greek, the new kitchen isn't finished but is finished enough to start to decant boxes which means the living room feels less of a bombsite. Cuddled up watching Halloween crap with the kids and the pets are asleep! Winner!

I've just eaten a whole bar of the new Caramilk.

Roast chicken being cooked by someone else, followed by last games night before S2 goes off for his first term.

Had a proper clear out of garden/courtyard , there’s two loaves of GF bread rising, I have a beer in my hand and I’ll be seeing my grandchildren tomorrow.

We took the DC swimming today and my youngest has really cracked taking her feet off the floor and actually swimming - all of a sudden she's actually doing it! She's so pleased with herself, and her sister was being super encouraging.

Also, we're having roast beef and Yorkshire puddings for dinner today.

I'm looking forward to the usual roast chicken for tea, and the week ahead. Had some lovely coffee today, some great chocolates and I've got a bit of Pinot Grigio left in the fridge to enjoy later - happy days!

Glorious day, I spent quite a lot of it sitting in the sun. Am recovering from Covid and I'm really OK plus I've taken one more day off work tomorrow because I'm still very tired if I do much.

Did loads of really useful clearing out of the kids stuff and the house is all organised and tidy!

My new embroidery thread arrived today (gorgeous colours) so I can get on with my beautiful new piece in blissful quiet while DH enjoys his sport

There are some very calm, soothing thoughts in this thread. I've progressed/regressed to Judge Dredd.

I've done all the ironing (I do it about twice a year).

Sat in the sun in the garden this afternoon with tea and cake and some house porn while DH dug over one of the beds and we had a lovely chat.

Currently planning my outfit for dinner at the Savoy Grill in honour of someone's special birthday soon.

It's been a lovely day Smile

I'm on holiday in Wiltshire and I've walked to West Kennet Long Barrow and the Avebury stones. Fantastic and soothing.

I have a new book to open tonight and tomorrow once dc are at school I can watch Endeavour and Grantchester whilst drinking tea and stroking the cats. It's the simple things.

I came to a decision yesterday that quite a large life change I have made and keep debating on is the right thing for me, so I slept last night (although not many hours thanks to the dog) deeper than I have for a long time.
