Bullied as an adult in what should have been a professional setting

I had a terrible experience recently it’s quite outing so can’t go into more detail than I will
In my OP

I had to go somewhere (a professional setting as above) for approx 2 hours over 3 days last week.
It was horrific , after the first 30 mins I had been singled out and was asked to remain in a separate area.
I queried this as the other adults were being allowed to go to any area they wished.

I had a door shut in my face when I stood up for myself and said ‘I’m just going outside with everyone else’ so i had to open it and was looked at like I had 3 heads by the person who had done it.

Other things were :
-not being believed about things I said when I was asked specific questions. I was told ‘well we disagree’ and ‘well if that’s what you think ‘ etc . Belittling comments.

I heard 2 people talking about me when they didn’t realise I was within earshot (they mentioned my name and another relevant thing) and were saying ‘when she has left we will discuss it all properly and get involved.’

I was patronised as well a lot and it was awful. I left early on the third day.

I’m so shocked adults can behave like that. Everyone got there on an equal footing I cannot understand why I was singled out so quickly
