Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good smart watch for a 9 year old please. Doesn't need to be too fancy, just want smart for when she's at the park across the road.
Thanks :)

None. No nine year old needs a smart watch.

They might not need one but it's perfectly ok for them to have one of their parents chooses Hmm

Garmin kids is what DS had when he was 10

I would be worried this would make her a target in the park. If she needs to know the time can’t she have a basic Casio or similar?

No adult really needs a smart watch either Hmm

Watching for recommendations as I was thinking getting my soon to be 10year old one for her birthday too and was looking at Garmin kids. She'll only really want it for the fitness/sleep tracker and watch so don't need anything too fancy.

Blimey, I'm not saying she needs a high tech top of the arts smart watch made for adults. There's ones specifically made for children and I'm asking which ones would be good so I can contact her/she can contact me if need be.
She could wear a normal watch and at the moment does but I like the idea of being able to contact her, without giving her a phone.

Don't have suggestions for what I asked ? Then please don't comment.

DS has had a Mi Fit since he was 9, it is linked to an app on my phone. Have messages etc switched off, he just likes to know his steps each day, sometimes he'll run up and down the stairs before bed if he hasn't hit his target that day.
They are about £35, easy to use.
