Most comfortable underwear recommendations

Knickers I mean, not bras. I haven't bought any for years. I have an M&S voucher and I'm happy to just buy a multipack or whatever. I need a size 16 at the moment. Any recommendations are welcome.

Or it doesn't have to be from M&S, I just mentioned it as I happen to have a £10 voucher at the moment but it's not that important.

Men's boxers. They are so comfy. And shape your bum! I genuinely think the reason men rule the world is they are in constant underpants comfort where women's underwear really is something you're often conscious of.

M and S in particular.

Mountaingoatling. Which boxers do you recommend? I want to buy some but am worried about the extra baggy frontage! Please share a link 😁

I like these - comfy and last well and the bit of lace is nice Smile

I agree with this, I only wear boxers now!

Second the brand in the Amazon link above. I have plain coloured high waist version. They are immensely comfy, breathable, hold in my wobbly tum and bum a bit, and do NOT creep up my bum when walking.
Nice colours too.

Regardless of size, we are not all the same shape, so what works for one woman does not work for the next.

Personally, l like M&S Brazilians, because they move with me, have soft stretch lace round the leg holes as opposed to elastic and stop put as well as having a good range of colours. In contrast, I always find multipacks have at least one colour you don’t want.

For me, the often praised Sloggi brand (made by Triumph Bras), are too a thicker fabric and look and feel like a nappy. But others love them.

I love the M&S Flexifit range. I can't remember whether I have the full briefs or the high rise shorts, but they are incredibly comfortable, stay in place, don't show through clothes and wear well. I bought some after a recommendation on another Mumsnet thread, along with some John Lewis cotton full briefs, and the M&S ones are much better.

I also bought these when pregnant with DD1 and often revert back to them when I’m feeling uncomfortable! They’re amazing. Not the most attractive but they’re so comfy!

I always say this. Thunderpants.co.uk. They are expensive, but I have paid that are 10 years old and no end in sight. The colours and prints can be weird, but they will never, ever budge.

@Thighdentitycrisis - I have those pants! Actually I have three packs of them because I asked my mum for 'big pants' for Christmas (she asked and I'm almost 50 btw!) and she lost track of what was in her online basket. They are so, SO comfortable! Best pants ever, #livingmybestpants (that hash tag thing was a joke btw!).

@quince2figs and @LadyofMisrule, what’s the sizing like. I need a 16.

I've had a revelation recently. Maybe its something everyone else k kws but a life changer for me. Cotton shorts (from M&S as it happens) but size up. Comfortable and no vpl. I've tried all the no vpl knickers but slightly too big cotton pants "work" by far the best.

Does microfibre not make you sweaty? Like wearing nylon knickers?

Report
StarlightLady · 29/07/2021 08:20

@Gatekeeper - Microfibre works for me. It has plenty of stretch and moves with you. I find them far more comfy than 100Q% cotton. No baggy bum!

I’ve always bought the high leg knickers.
I wasn’t a fan of the ones with the lace on as the lace went baggy.

LadyofMisrule · 29/07/2021 08:40

@BikeRunSki I used the sizing chart and it was absolutely perfect.

I wear sainsburys cotton bikini briefs everyday, comfortable, cool, flattering and don't go baggy in the wash.
