Inspired by another thread where people were complaining about the really annoying ones. What channels can people recommend?

My offering is Jago Hazzard, to whom I've become slightly addicted. He does slightly nerdy but interesting videos on little-known stuff about London, the tube, and related topics. Lovely voice, and nice touches of dry humour. Here's the latest example -

I like the guy who travels around the world trying different foods - Mark Wyans or something along those lines. Someone please correct me if that’s not his name.

Thanks for the link to Jago - he sounds interesting :)

I like Planterina, she has a houseplant channel. She's clearly just a lovely person and does things like loses her train of thought halfway through a sentence. I find her endearing as well as clearly knowing her stuff as regards houseplants.

I also like Caitlin Doughty (AskAMortician). Topics on death and mortician chat etc wouldn't normally be my thing, but she's really interesting and clearly very fulfilled and experienced at what she does. There is some very frank dead body talk and the odd image so it's not for everybody but it is a genuinely interesting, kind, and educational channel.

Oh and TheDetailGeek. He makes videos of himself cleaning filthy cars. He goes into a lot of detail ha! -- and isn't fazed by anything. I find it ridiculously therapeutic. (He's also a vair pretty man, on a shallow level.)

I am slightly obsessed with Thames mudlarking videos. Especially Nicola White TidelineArt. 32:26

It's so soothing to watch her find interesting bits and bobs. She is lovely. The river looks glorious too. She is lovely and researches her finds. It's quite therapeutic to watch and a bit addictive too.

I absolutely love The Unknown Vlogs. He's a fashion vlogger called Kofi McCalla, who does videos exactly 11.11 minutes long going around nice areas of London asking really cool looking people what they're wearing.

What's nice is that it's not all about him. I don't think I've ever seen such cool and gorgeous people before - it's almost like an endorphin rush! He also looks amazing and is very cool.

He's the first YouTuber whose videos I always like and comment on, as I really want to support him, although he already has 772,000 followers.

Max Fosh
Zac and Jay (although not to everyone's taste!)

I used to watch a lot of YouTube but tend to just browse now and click on random videos rather than follow a lot of people.

I love Stated Casually and for a more relaxed take, Stated Clearly. The guy who hosts it has the loveliest voice ever and is super smart. If you love science you'll love it.

I like Christina Randall, Michelle After Dark and Chris Stuckmann. They are true crime and movie reviews. My fave has to be Michelle....she is a real Northern Englishwoman and I find her so soothing to listen to. She does a lot of Chris Watts videos so you have to be a crime sleuth to appreciate her I think.

WithWonder (aka Pretty Neat Living, and a few names before that). She’s a bit irritating in her softly spoken zen-ness but I really need her chilled calm vibe currently.
