Three weeks ago I had a filing and the same tooth was built up becuae some of it had broken off.
It was one of the upper back teeth and as I have TMJ disorder it was quite difficult for the dentist to work in that confined area so she placed one of those metal dental clamp things over my tooth in order to build it up. When she had finished she struggled to lift the dam thing off as she had pressed it quite firmly down.
When the anaesthesia had worn off it was apparent that she had cut quite deeply into my gum, in between the two teeth.
It hurts a lot when I eat and settles when I’m not eating but the pain is quite nasty.
I’ve swished with salt water for a week or two but it’s not healing.
I’ve contacted the dentist and they said they would need to see me but the nest available appointment isn’t until 16th August!
Any tips on how I can get this healed up. It’s a tad eye watering when I eat.
