Positive and negative!

I went to Las Vegas, glad I went, but no desire to return! :)

Would never return to Warwick Castle. It's quite over rated...and not much even happened there, it just looks the part! :)

Margate.

Oxford! I found it so boring, weird vibe and lacking in charm.

Bath, thought it would be beautiful but Harrogate (10 minutes up the road) is far nicer 🤷🏼‍♀️

I thought I must have missed a big part of Oxford as it wasn't at all how I expected it.

Sundown adventure

Very tired place that charges adult prices for 2 year +

I get it’s aimed at toddlers so they can go on everything but for the price it was, it was very expensive

So many questions.

Do you mean Bath or somewhere else or is there another Bath in addition to 'the' Bath? Likewise Harrogate.

Or is there some sort of wormhole between Bath and Harrogate of which I am unaware, as I thought they were more like 5 hours apart?

This country? Kidderminster. I'd also avoid London unless there was something specific I really wanted to see.

Abroad? France.

Bath in Somerset? 10 min from Harrogate in N Yorks? Have you ever been to either of those places? Grin or looked at a map? That’s hysterical- what did you mean?

Birmingham. I’ve never gone anywhere else in the UK where people hassled you on the street for money. London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Newcastle - nobody has ever approached me on the street and made me feel threatened. But in Birmingham it happened repeatedly; on my first walk through the city centre I was approached about 3-4 times and asked for money. It kept happening so I left early because it spoiled my visit.

Oh, I get it now. OP went all the way to Bath from somewhere in North Yorkshire and she thought 'I could have saved myself the bother and just popped out to Harrogate one afternoon'.

Scottish Highlands, beautiful place but vast, I was expecting more pretty and less wild, more like the lake district, there are miles and miles of nothing, it was also hard to find decent places to walk the dogs as everywhere was so boggy.

Oh yeah Birmingham. Stopped there for a night on way back from a wedding. Booked into Clayton, they had some weird bank holiday party, I’ve never seen such sights in my life. Twenty year olds barely dressed running around screaming, openly doing drugs, throwing up in the lifts, I have hardly led a sheltered existence but honestly it was like being trapped at an indoor full moon party.

The centre itself is a dive, like they got halfway through building it and gave up.
