Someone is seeking attention on social media and you find yourself wondering, or indeed searching online, about what they've said....which is clearly the goal.

@Idontknowanymore05

Sheridan Smith?

No one famous
Acquaintance of mine. I do like her but she likes her attention.

Claiming to have had a fling with someone who I might know of, who has recently passed...from other clues I reckon he's about 60+.

I don't want to wrack my brains but it is bugging me and it will turn out to be someone I've never heard of anyway...

Oh sorry. It sounded similar to something I'd read in the papers earlier.

Has she directly told you it is someone you might know? If so, can you ask her outright who?

If she hasn't, then I'd just ignore the attention seeking. I know its annoying when you want to know though. You have to act like you don't care.

She's done a general post saying "this was a secret no one knew" and lamenting over his death which she makes sound recent.

I am sorry that she lost someone she cared about. I just find it distasteful to do a kind of "ooh, get me with my secret" and a cropped photo of a love letter...

If someone you care for has died, you could post "lost someone who means a lot to me" and still get the sympathy?

There's always a lot of pouty photos. I post there to help her blog, favour to a casual friend. I think she's very nice probably, only met her twice due to lockdown.

But I am finding myself wondering who it is as she says he's well known.
