Nhs essential qualifications

The nhs job I have an interview for. The essential criteria is nvq level 2 business administration. If successful at the job do they request the certificates ?

I did the full year for my nvq but towards the end the training provider was changed and my employer never registered me and therefor my certificates were never produced and my information was lost as too much time went on. I have the employer and the training provide both willing to give some form of reference to show I did do the apprenticeship. Would they accept this ?

Xx

I don’t think anyone here can answer that, it will depend on the individual NHS trust. You will just need to ask them.

In parallel, get your previous employee/trainer to register you with the accrediting body.

If you are going to need to rely on proving this, for this job or any future ones, then you are going to need the certificate

Yes, get some form of evidence that you did it. Because if not this job, then a future one will ask to see it.

I cannot get them to register as it’s passed 3 years and the apprenticeship body no longer exists either it’s not a thing anymore so it’s literally gone! Time passed due to me taking the employer to court for bad treatment and I won but we never regained contact to complete for certificates so all I have is a reference from the employer and training provider to prove I did do the qualification I just hope tor will be enough!

Sorry, but I don't think they will accept it without a certificate. I'd apply though.

I have my interview tomorrow. Fingers crossed I’m successful.

It might be enough for this job, but then you might need it in future. You'll need to ask.

I interviewed for a NHS job where a masters in Public Health was one of the essential criteria, I don't have the masters but I was still offered the job.
