Ok, that's obviously a huge over reaction but it has been really bloody shit and my daughter has been a real handful and that's putting it politely

Can anyone share their comically bad days just to make feel a bit better?

If it helps, my 2 year old son decided to scoot his bum along the floor like a dog with worms in the middle of Boots this afternoon. He also made sure to scream his head off beforehand to get maximum attention from everyone else in the shop.

Just to add, my son doesn't have worms, he's just extra dramatic.

I had a day where I broke my nose, my DD broke her leg (she was at childcare, I was at work) and my car broke down on the way home from A and E. And the cat was sick on my duvet which nearly finished me off. That day has gone down in family legend as the pinnacle of Bad Days.

There was also the Day of the Interview when DD refused to go to the childminder, DH got stuck in traffic and then the WiFi died so my Zoom interview had to be done via phone call with a screeching child in the background. Surprisingly I have yet to hear about the job.....

My day started with skidding in cat vomit and having to remove it from between my toes. Then I realized it is MAY not March and frantically trying to appear calm and unflustered in budget submission meetings. On a plus note I had a legal document returned because I had put the wrong age. Since October I have been saying I am 46 and was absolutely convinced I was. Actually I am 45 so I have gained a year!

I’ve done that @grantoderek (age thing not cat vomit!)

Since I posted I slipped and broke my little toe. That will teach me to sneak of for a bath when working from home. Luckily we have a company medical Centre so have been seen, xrayed and given painkillers in the space of an hour.

I had a comically bad day a while back which ended getting covered in petrol! I was filling up my car and it was super windy, and as I pulled the nozzle out the wind somehow blew a load of petrol over me! Dp was slightly alarmed as I can through the door looking knackered, pissed of and inexplicably honking of petrol!

Cat vomit seems to be 'the thing'. Sorry but cracked up at the lady trying to do an interview with screechy child in the background!

I once had a day when everything was going wrong. Finally I decided to go to the shop to get a bottle of wine. On the way home (walking) it very suddenly and unexpectedly started raining so I was drenched. As I got home I dropped the bottle of wine and it smashed.

Literally this thread was made for me today - I cycled to work (about 3 & 1/2 miles), went to cycle home - back tire was COMPLETELY flat. I must have cycled over something that pierced my tyre and 3 & 1/2 miles takes sooo much longer walking! Get home; I’m now running late so I go to get in the car, reverse.... into my own bloody house! So I’ve managed to damage both my modes of transport and will have to spend time and money (neither of which is plentiful) getting them fixed. I keep telling myself it could have been worse but that really doesnt help!
