GRAMMAR POLICE - Could you please check this?

As @BobbinThreadbare123 said above, the 'a' spelling used in the UK is for a different meaning than the one in your sentence. The 'e' spelling is the correct one in this context.

If you were talking about your dependants (ie the people who were financially dependent on you) you'd use the noun.

Dependent is more usually an adjective in the UK. Dependant is a noun.

My dependent niece needs me to fund her. She is my only dependant.

Your sentences need to start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. Ellipses have three dots not two.
