I am reading a very dull article about the definition of ideology.

I managed to change my address with one pension company on the second phone call after only about 10 minutes of terrible music.

I also downloaded lots of bank statements.

I’m trying to interpret someone else’s vision of what my organisation should look like and how it should work, in order to tell the people responsible for manning how many more people who do my job we need, and at what levels.

I will shortly be walking to the post office to drop off (Click and Drop) my scarf and twin Teds.
Then there’s a chicken to strip for stock plus a pie for tonight, and a couple of exciting little parcels labelled Chick Bits for the freezer.
And start another scarf.
If I spread my entire yarn stash over our spare single bed, I swear you wouldn’t be able to see the duvet. So it’s going to take a lot of scarves.

I just called a ‘gooooood girl’ a lot from the peanut gallery while doing my zoom yoga class. My audience also helpfully pointed out ‘You’re shivering Mummy’ at a certain point - it was a bit more hardcore than my usual yoga sessions and certain muscles had views on this 🙈 Luckily my microphone was muted!

Just signed a retirement card for a colleague. They are retiring but then coming back part time, which makes it quite difficult to think of what to say. ‘Enjoy seeing less of us’??

I forgot to take the car for it's MOT (after the first one was cancelled) Blush

I think we've just got so used to not looking at the calendar as it's not like there's likely to be anything on there Hmm

Calendar? What's a calendar?

Morning all. We were going to go out but have decided not.

We have been for good long walk, it was extremely muddy. I bribed the DC with a crisps purchase half way round - they weren’t allowed them until their lunch when we got home.

The only things on our kitchen calendar are birthdays.

After a longish walk I don’t think I can be bothered to strip that chicken today. Will have to think of something else for dinner.

Apparently it's where you write important reminders, so you remember to do them.

News to us apparently Grin

And now the garage is not answering my calls. Perhaps I've been blacklisted

Very cute teddies Mother

Just had spaghetti with spinach and blue cheese for lunch. DH is off to the shop for toothpaste, toothbrush and coke. We need to justify the toothbrush and paste need. Smile

Still doing change of address fun and playing guess where the employer / pension has moved to game. Everyone needs a different method. But I will hunt them down, 1 down, 5 to go. It's slow progress but it will happen eventually.

Just bought a doormat. Keen thread readers may recall that I bought a doormat a couple of weeks ago. This is the same doormat, in a different size. What can I say? I have a dog who enjoys mud and a white hall/kitchen floor.

My nail polish has already come off on two fingers, will either have to repaint them before work tomorrow or pick it off all the rest. Maybe I should go and buy nail polish remover. And cotton wool.

I succeeded in tracking down another pension and changing address and moving online and its value had gone up a lot so that was good.

I've just put the dishwasher on for the second time today.

I need to go and make a Bolognese sauce for tea, but I'm comfy on the sofa and don't really want to move.

Found you!
Squirrel - congratulations on your new door mat!

DS's GP has signed him off school unteil after the Easter break. I could hear the boulders drop from his shoulders when I told him.
We (DS and I) will have an emergency pizza, before I sign back into work.

Tesco and Sainsburys have both run out of strawberries. It's very upsetting as I wanted some with pancakes tomorrow.

Welcome, @starpatch, and thanks for sharing your rubbish clearing news. What sort of job are you thinking about applying for?

@chocolateisavegetable, I have strawberries and yogurt for breakfast every day. I'd be shattered if I couldn't get any.

I've done DD's taxes. She's getting back money on her Federal return, but she owes slightly more on her New York State return. I'm waiting for her to send me a picture of her driver's license to get the number from it for identity verification.

Does anyone think I'll get a cheery "Thanks, mum, for taking care of that boring and bothersome task for me." from DD? Grin

Beautiful weather here today, my first trip out of the house without tights this year I think! Took DC to a playground about a mile away on our bikes then came back via 2 others. Bumped into 3 different families we knew, which was lovely.

I had to work today (from home; haven't been in the offfice for.....a year Shock) and spent the day in a blurry fog of migraine which has been hanging over me for the past day or two. Luckily I didn't have to do anything that requires much concentration but really all I want to do is crawl into bed.

I'll take some medication tonight but it doesn't always do the trick. Fingers crossed that it works this time.
