Belgian type chocolate rather than cadbury. Is Hotel Chocolat nice or Prestat?

I particularly like salted caramel.

If it’s a fancy chocolate you’re after, charbonnel et Walker salted caramel truffles are divine. I absolutely love prestat but have only had their chocolate truffles in the Red box. Really moreish.
Always enjoyed all the hotel chocolat types I’ve tried too.
Another brand I’ve really enjoyed is monty bojangles. Amazon have them in different varieties.

I love Hotel Choc. I used to be a member of their monthly Tasting Club --maybe something I could restart to ease the boredom of lockdown Grin

I absolutely love The Hotel Chocolat Patisserie sleekster - it's my Christmas treat.

That it my favourite too especially Lemon Cheesecake - I think I could eat a whole box of those if they made one!

Paul A Young if you really want to push the boat out. I’ve not actually tried them, but he does boxes of salted caramel chops that are out of this world (apparently).

I also like Godiva, Tony’s and Charbonnel Et Walker.

God yes, the cheesecakes, so delicious - think there were three different types this year? Whoever the individual chocolatiers are at Hotel Chocolat must get a huge kick from achieving those flavours. The carrot cake is weirdly spot on.

Iain Burnett Chocolatier. The salted caramel hearts are insanely nice - but its not cheap. I do like Hotel Chocolate but this is a step up from that

Hotel chocolat is excellent. The patisserie box is my favourite and disappears pretty quick! I think you can get it through Amazon to avoid their delivery costs

I live near where they make Charbonel et Walker. I like the salted caramel truffles but we had pink versions which may have been champagne flavoured ones and they were just ok.

Paul A Young are the best salted caramel chocolates I've ever had.

OMG some of the prices of these! I'd normally buy a handful of lovely chocolates if I was somewhere that had them. I live in the sticks.

Given the price of delivery it seems like I'd best go all or nothing....

God, i can’t stand Hotel Chocolat - i’m always amazed it gets so much love on here - it just tastes like (overpriced) burnt cardboard to me.

Kennedy’s Chocolates, however, are sent directly from heaven to make life better.
