We have very kindly been loaned a laptop from school (things have been v tight since lockdown). DD has just split a cup of water on it!!!! I’ve tipped it upside down and put it on the airing cupboard. What else can I do?? Please help wise ones...

I haven’t got quite that much rice at home but may rush to the corner shop for a massive bag! 🙏

Airing cupboard should do the trick. I’d leave for 24 hours minimum though. Kinda pot luck as to if it actually took any components down. Good luck!Smile

I feel your pain! Managed to drop my phone down the loo on Saturday ☹️
Working except won't connect to the WiFi!

Leave it there for a few days.. do not attempt to turn on to see if it's working!
I've managed to rescue mine twice from coffee by leaving it upside down to dry out , but you have to be patient!
(Third time it was a full glass of red wine and that DID kill it...)

Thanks all! I’m resisting the temptation to try it and it’s still with the dehumidifier! The kids did try to turn it on initially, will that have killed it???
