Unusual gift for late pregnancy?

Grandadwasthatyou · 17/01/2021 22:44

Dsis is due her first baby imminently and is absolutely fed up. She has had a terrible pregnancy, hyperemesis right through and then in later weeks really bad SPD. I am unable to see her face to face as she isn't in my bubble but really want to send her something to cheer her up which isn't the usual flowers or chocolates. In the first lockdown I sent her a Cornish cream tea which went down well but she's really not attracted to any food at the moment.
Any suggestions please budget up to £50?

I sent my good friend a nice pair of slippers and a dressing gown which she loved and took into hospital with her.

A back massager cushion? Haven't tried them but am quite tempted (28 weeks and getting quite achey and stiff)

I'm exactly the same as your sis. Suffered with hg for months, had bad spd for the last 8 weeks. Infact can hardly walk today. I would really love someone to buy me an electric back massager for the whole back or round my shoulder.
