(123 Posts)I'm so thirsty tonight, had roast gammon/ham for dinner, which was lovely but now I'm thirsty and I have nothing nice to drink. I'm really craving ice cold cloudy lemonade, or lemon Fanta (full sugar one though, none of that zero stuff).
What would you choose?
Water is the only thing that quenches my thirst. I would have to drink water after after any of the ones you've mentioned.
Robinsons
Water!
Diet coke
Has to be ice cold for me - ice cold water is best, coke in a can 2nd.
Water for real thirst.
And wine to go with the meal.
Only water quenches my thirst. I do love lemonade though.
Yes, water. I have warm water with slices of lemon in. It makes it fragrant and comforting.
Tea
Water ice cold from the fridge
Spring water
Failing that ice cold lager in a sunny beer garden
Oh wait..........
A 50/50 bitter shandy proper quenches my thirst
Really cold fresh water, if I'm really thirsty.
Room temperature tap water doesn't quite do the trick though. I tend to drink squash. Enjoying an apple + herb one at the moment.
Cheap, weak orange squash like you always get at church events for children works, although it needs to be one with sugar. Rhubarb cordial. Real lemonade. Fizzy apple.
Nothing like a can of coke when tremendously thirsty...nothung like it!
However, I regret it half an hour later when I have an even worse thirst. If I'm being sensible I drink water...nothing else will work as well!
Diet coke with loads of ice and lime.
Milk
Water
Not my favourite drink, but nothing quenches my thirst like water.
Oh I wasn't even thinking alcohol!
A pint of ice cold larger shandy if we're doing alcohol.
Ice cold milk
I drink water like I've just walked through a dessert, but for my brother it's coke!
Sparkling water with lemon and ice or wine.
Tea, hot or cold. Water, with a squirt/segment of lemon or lime.
If you’re thirsty you need to drink water
