How are children's verrucas treated these days? DD just moaned about her big toe being sore and she has an absolute whopper! Must be uncomfortable to walk on. Will a GP freeze them these days? Thanks.

GPs don't freeze them where I live. Both DC have had them. I took them to a private podiatrist who treated them then carried on with buzzuca with one DC as they weren't quite gone. Podiatrist said not to worry too much as childrens immune systems often get rid of them themselves so said not to bring them back back as it is costly.

Yep. Just bazzukah that verruca!

My DC has just got one. Or idea how when he’s not going anywhere or doing anything, certainly barefooted!

My daughter (9) has had large ones on both feet. They just turned black one day and then fell out. We were told her system would eventually just fight them off and to leave them alone

The NHS don't treat them these days. It's either OTC stuff, private or just wait until it goes away by itself

Duct tape. Works amazingly well

the gp won't do anything unless it gets infected...
get over the counter wart treatment and those round plasters (the treatment liquid is quite runny and the plaster keeps it in place.
it will take a while to get better but better it will get.
