It is giving me irrational rage. You know when the worlds smallest more ridiculous problem just snaps you????

That’s nothing, my Alexa doesn’t address me by name.

@BikeRunSki neither does mine! I tried the “recognise my voice feature” which is when I discovered this utter travesty and now I am just fuming about it

Mine thinks I'm my son. She's got attitude.

Can you change your name?

Mine pronounces my town wrongly. If the weather doesn't piss me off, her giving me the forecast, mispronounced, will.

We have a love hate relationship. I ignore her and she ignores me 😁

She either just interrupts at random intervals or does odd things when you talk to her.

Last week DH came to bed late and asked her to turn on his heated blanket to which she replied “yes I can make animal noises” at which point we both fell above laughing

We have Google Lady and while DS did learn to say Geronimo for her, she is also delightfully random.

Tempting as it is, I’m rather attached to my name @TheGirlWithGlassFeet 🤣

Google maps tells me to turn onto Cock Rim Road instead of Cockerham Road, which sounds all kinds of wrong!

Mine taught me how to pronounce mine correctly! We have a polish surname from a few generations ago. Alexa pronounces it add the polish do, not as we do Grin

Haha neither does mine. It's a very normal name, which is always pronounced the same way. So weird.
