I was wondering if anybody had completed virtual challenges before? The company I've seen is this one.
I fancy starting wuth something not very hard. I need to improve my fitness. Plus it's something to aim towards during lockdown.
There's also not the sponsorship element which pisses some ppl off.
So I was thinking of maybe doing the Hadrian's wall challenge in 2 months. That way I can still push myself.
Weather is variable here and there could be days where it's impossible to walk.
I also like the environmental aspect in that they will plant 5 trees for each individual that completes.
You can do it as an individual or team.
So I was looking for others thoughts.
I did one last summer, I virtually walked Lands End to John O'Groats. I loved it, I need a target to work towards and it gives me some control in a very unpredictable world.
I’m currently doing their Iceland ring road challenge. I love it and find it really motivating
I wa actually going to start a thread asking if anyone has done these. I'm disabled so it'll take me months to do. I've an old fashioned pedometer so would need to input my own distance daily. Is it worth it? I've seen a lot of people complaining re the cost of postage for medals being extra?
