I'm not like the Sistine Chapel screaming woman (for anyone who remembers that thread), but I do cry really easily. I'm pretty tough on the inside, I've had a lot of challenges in life and cope well with problems. I wouldn't say I have self esteem issues, yet I cry like a baby at the silliest of things. It looks like I'm more emotionally affected than I actually am, but I cannot control it.
Bit of an extreme example here, and this has never happened but it's like, someone at work might say "I don't like your coat" and I will cry. I won't actually care that Susan in accounts doesn't like my coat. I won't dwell on it, or go out and buy a new coat, but I will cry at the time anyway.
I don't know if it's some kind of hormone thing or what, but I am sure I didn't used to be this way! Is anyone else like this, and has anyone ever found a way to control it?
