How do you celebrate your own birthday?

I've got a big birthday coming up and I'll be alone for much of it. I'll go and see the dc at their dad's for a bit, but what do you do for yourself to celebrate your birthday? In a lockdown, of course Confused

I take a bath on my own. Maybe even with wine. I know how to live it up.

A ready meal from M&S in the evening, so no planning or cooking, with a bottle of wine, to cuddle with my dogs on the sofa & watch a film or box set
Buy myself a present, would normally go shop browsing for it with lunch or coffee out but order online now. Perhaps some new makeup to start

Then bed with a new book to read & a cup of tea.

Can you do a zoom party with friends or family?
I like being in contact with people on my birthday and going out for a bike ride or walk.
Definitely nice food and a good film.
I also buy myself birthday gifts. I love books but no one ever buys me a book. So I always order a few for myself.

It’s my birthday today. I baked myself a cake. I ordered a dominos and I’m drinking wine. Living the highlife!

If it were me I would order myself some little gifts to open on my birthday which would include a new book, a birthday cake, almond L'Occitane bath stuff and I would sit and read my new book all day after a bath, wearing either lovely dress or some new White Company pyjamas whilst eating cake and chocolate.

In the evening I would order an Indian or Chinese and drink it with some wine. I may have spent a few happy moments imagine what I would do as it's never likely to happen

I hope you have a lovely day whatever you decide to do.

Have your favourite meal & drink, preferably alcoholic if you drink.

A lovely, long bubble bath.

Your favourite film / book.

If you don’t have the DC- a lay in!!

I always buy myself a present. Think year it was something that took time to learn how to use and set up so it can be a focus on the day. I usually like to buy a new book, notepad and pens, nicer bottle of wine to normal and have an idea of how I want to spend the day: walk, bath, hot chocolate, new PJ's, film, favourite dinner etc and have it all in ready. You can make it lovely 💐🎉🎂

It’s mine tomorrow! I’m going to drink champagne, hopefully husband will cook me dinner and then will have pudding with custard (my fave and currently trying to diet new baby weight off !). I like to do some exercise on my birthday for some reason so will try and do an online class ! Mmmmmm and will find some cake somewhere ! And fish and chip takeaway Saturday as that’s my fave !
