Reusable face pads?

Shufflebumnessie · 01/01/2021 14:30

I'm thinking about swapping to reusable face pads for removing eye make up/cleansing.
Can anyone suggest a particular make? Google has so many options!
Thanks in advance.

I've been making my own with fabric remnants and chopped up flannels.

Ohhh something I can answer!

Tabitha Eve, they’re a small business run by women and they’re products are the softest! You can get slightly cheaper ones on there because they aren’t perfect but they’re sustainable so they don’t just ‘waste’ a useable product. Highly recommend.

Cheeky wipes are great. I use their wet wipes but sent my dsis the face wipes for her birthday and she loves them

I bought a pack of 10 bamboo circular pads (like cotton wool pads). I use 2 each day and then throw them into the next wash. They wash and dry very easily but can do with being put inside a sock (or similar) so they don't end up getting lost in the machine.

Much more environmentally-friendly than cotton wool.

You can make them easily, fabric on one side, towelling on the other, out of scraps. Havent bought cotton wool in years. Just chuck them in the washing machine

Garnier do a box of three, they're a decent size and extremely soft. I find them to be really good. Easy to wash under the tap with hand soap or in the washing machine with everything else.

I hate the Garnier ones, while they are soft and lovely dry I find that they drag on my face when wet and just kinda contort themselves rather than glide nicely.

I have a few Face Halos and love them, and some I bought on Etsy that are made of more of a flannel material.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've still not made a decision!

I can second cheeky wipes, they are very soft and wash well even though the are white on one side.
