Just finished job, how to wind down

I've just finished wrapping up a job, I've got a new more senior one starting in January. Lots to do for Christmas, turkey tomorrow and the next day and tonnes of adminy stuff to do.

But really I just need to relax for a few days, if not a week. How do you get in a relaxing groove?

I've had a bath, am not sure about just stuffing my face, and am uninspired by telly.

Three small kids, but they are in bed now. How do I make the most of tonight?

Congratulations on your new job!

Glass of wine and a really good book sound good to me, but I'd probably end up flicking between hr news on covid and Brexit and wasting 3 hours of my life. I definitely find putting my phone down includes my quality of life.

thanks for your reply and good wishes. I've steadied myself pottering around clearing up and sorting laundry for a while, and I am now having a sit down. Trying to resist wine as we have drunk every night this week and I keep waking up not feeling my best self !!

Putting down phone is a good call.
