Mucus plug and labour

Just a bit of research/reassurance really...
How long did it take to go into labour after losing your mucus plug?
I went for a sweep a few days ago and started to lose it that afternoon. It then stopped for a day and has been coming out in big blobs over the last couple of days.
This is my first baby and I'm 40+3, I've no idea what to expect in terms of time frames so any insight would be appreciated Smile

My lost my plug after being induced at around 8pm and went into labour around 9am the next morning. Baby was here at 14:48 but I’ve heard of people being a lot quicker

Two weeks from losing plug to being in established labour. The Braxton Hicks weren’t much fun in between, if I’m honest.

I didn't lose mine. Or at least, I thought I did at about 20 weeks, and lost nothing at 41 when I actually went into labour. My water didn't break either, I assume it was broken when forceps got involved, but I was too out of it at that point to notice. I'm not sure it's a reliable indicator, I'm afraid.
