Is there anything you can do for truck drivers?

Know it sounds like an odd one but reading the news and it’s really sad all those drivers stuck, miles away from home, no end in sight, limited food, loos, heat or showers! They must be running out of fuel to heat the cabs?

Is anything being done for them in Dover? Any other group and they would be having emergency efforts but I can’t see anything! Can the U.K. based ones even turn around and come home?

I have no idea why this is bothering me this morning of all things! Just feels very sad for them to miss Christmas.

It must be awful for them. Are they able to access anything? Can the military at least deliver food and water.

I also felt really sad for them when reading the news this morning. It's such a horrible situation for them all. Im not sure what anyone could do to help though? The government should be making sure they are OK and have everything they need.

I read that many of them have no access to toilets, food supplies and washing facilities. It must be getting grim.

This is the thing, if it were flooding/refugees/fires whatever the military would be out helping, but seems these lot have just been left to fester and it must be awful in Dover unless the news is exaggerating (has been known)!

Some of them will have medical needs and be on medication. The military can set up a centre for them with food, toilets, its an emergency situation that needs to be addressed. There are police cars driving up and down between them who should distribute supplies.
