Spent the morning learning to code in python.
Going to cook something this afternoon for a family WhatsApp "chocolate creation" competition.

Mine aren't. None in the area are either, I don't think.

Is 10 a tween? He and the other dc are currently using all the cardboard boxes and odds and ends from around the house to make a car.

That’s a couple of good idea, I’m going to make notes. My mental health isn’t great so any thinking/creative skills are not good at the moment

Mine are all on various screens, bit bored but not much else to do. Weather is drizzly and rubbish.
Might get them helping me cook later.

Mine have had several duels with their trading cards, made lunch for my husband, done one piece of homework and then gone to the back of our games cupboard. They have found some games they played when they were younger and are currently playing that one where you fill a plastic whale up with water and try to fish out the seafood without it squirting you!

my 13 year old son has taken his brother and sister (6&2) into his bedroom to ‘help’ him wrap my christmas presents that he’s bought for me (but they’re from them all). there’s lots of laughing and a background of the smiths.

Tv and screens. I want to take them for a walk at least. I also have a 1000 piece friends puzzle I thought it would be fun to do, but they don't want to do anything...it's gonna be a long Christmas holiday

We’re all self isolating here. DD (11) is face timing her friends, alternating with TikTok. We made banana bread earlier and we watched Operation Christmas Drop this morning. She’s pootling around complaining about being bored mostly 😂

ChessIsASport · 21/12/2020 13:24

My DD(11) is on a mission to sew everyone a Christmas present so she is making a mess in the conservatory. My son (13) has probably sneaked back to bed to read a book. My dog is snoofing (a very quiet woof through her nose) trying to remind my husband to stroke her. It’s unusually peaceful!
