Where can I go to the toilet?!

In London?
We are going into central London at the weekend but I am a bit concerned that as all restaurants and bars will be closed there will be nowhere to go to the toilet!
We are going late afternoon/evening so the shops will be shut.
Help!

What are you going into London for? Will there not be a loo at your destination? How are you travelling? Can you use a loo at the station?

The toilets in train stations like Charing Cross etc are open.

the idea is keep away, stay at home....its tier 3 i'm sure

You’d need to use the station toilets, I think... or whenever you’re going. A lot will be closed, because of tier 3 this week, although I expect it’ll still be full of people walking round looking at the lights as usual (hopefully mostly Londoners...)

What a weird question. If shopping then I'd assume department stores?

Train station toilets in London are free, aren't they?

Aren't we suppose to avoid travelling to tier 3 areas?

What are you going for? Nothing will be open.

I do think it’s a dick move to travel into London for shopping at the moment, pandemic in mind. You can find everything you want online! And if it’s not online, it is really not worth travelling to tier 3 Oxford St over.

We have just come out of lockdown - no one wants round 3. Stay in your home area - London doesn’t want you right now.

They were free in Charing Cross station a week ago.

@Ghostlyglow if the toilets are behind ticket gates, you’ll need a ticket for entry.

@PoptartPoptart What venue are you going to exactly, and in what part of town? Nearest tube? It will make a difference to the answers.

Central London is huge. We need a more precise area.
Main line train stations and coach stations have decent toilets. Most are free now I think.
If the purpose of your visit essential?

Sorry, I should have said in my previous post... We are going into London so my son can take photographs for his GCSE photography portfolio. He needs street shots of London busses, taxi’s etc.
We plan to be outside at all times and not go into any shops or use public transport. We are literally going to walk the streets with his camera!
We also live in a tier 3 area and are only about a half hour drive away - it’s just that I have a weak bladder and I know I’ll need the loo at some point!

We are parking at the end of Shaftesbury Avenue in a Q-Park car park. They usually have toilets in the car park but I’m worried they will be closed due to Covid

I think the UK is pretty awful for toilets at the best of times and would be even worse at the minute.

Get a day pass for pure gym. They are all over the place.
