Edited by MNHQ: We've added some Cyber Monday deals to this thread here and will be adding more throughout the day

Hi everyone, and welcome to the annual Mumsnet Black Friday thread - where we share the best deals we can find and hope you will too.

Black Friday kicks off officially on November 27th, although we’re sure your inbox has been bursting at the seams with offers all week. We’ll be on here tomorrow sharing deals and discounts that we’ve found but we’d love you to recommend bargains that you’ve found too - and if there’s something specific you’re looking for please post and we’ll do our best to find what you’re looking for at a knockdown price. If you do post any recommendations it helps if you can link to the product as it makes it easier for people to go and have a look at it - thanks!

We’ll update this thread early doors on Friday with a selection of great deals - and shortly we’ll post some fab savings that are live already too.

I’m looking for a Fitbit sense, it has £30 off at curry’s but wondering if it’ll come down anymore than that.

Also need Mario kart Lego expansion packs and nerf guns!

HP Sprocket 3rd generation is 74.99 on amazon, down from 119.99. Note - it's a tiny bit larger than the previous sprockets, so I think it needs different paper.
It gets good reviews.

I know, no one is playing on Black Friday. I think people are over buy ing stuff. That means the sales will be great.

I have so far bought:

Silk pillow case and eye mask (Happy Christmas to me present) -20% off
Superdry jeans 1/2 price for DS15
Bought a biker jacket form Reiss last week -20%

DH has bought loads of stuff but not too sure what, hopefully my perfume.

I have a fairly niche request:

Dd2 would like a microphone. She is very musical, and has, over this year, had to record quite a lot of different stuff for school concerts/performances. She has so far got by using her phone/iPad, but has asked for a microphone so she can get a better end result.

So, I’m looking for an idiot proof plug and play microphone set up that works with iPhone/iPad/MacBook specifically for singing/instrumental performances rather than podcast/gaming monologues.

Any help much appreciated!

OneisaWorldofBooks: there are a couple of the Lego Mario sets reduced on Amazon (specifically the piranha plant slide and Toad’s Treasure Hunt) if that helps.

@Autumnwoman we bought an xbox controller from a site called Custom Controllers last year. It was great service and they do loads of cool designs you don't get anywhere else. It was also cheaper than the standard xbox controllers.

Ds wants a laptop, mainly for school, I guess, but good enough to keep for a few years. I want to peruse all the deals, but have no idea what to look for! (Can I get anything decent with a max budget of around £500?) Any recommendations welcome!

@ElfDragon Not sure if this exactly fits the brief - but there's this USB microphone down to £55 from £69 - works via usb and is compatible with most devices (though if you want to connect to a mobile you also need a OTG adaptor).

Hope that helps! Flowers

Gazelda

I have done loads of research and spent an hour trying to find a deal and am happy with this purchase. I've had a silk pillowcase before and now can't live without one. The eye mask will take years off me, I hope.
