Last couple of weekends of lockdown part two
What are you looking forward to doing on the first lockdown free weekend ?

Today I’m going to go for a walk, play pitch and putt golf in the garden so some online shopping, get some very nice food in
Cook a fab meal tonight
Have a hot bath and maybe a bike ride in the pm round my local golf course because that is fun cycling on the buggy track with all the ups and downs
Almost like a very mild bike/stake park !!!

Then need to think of plans for next weekend

Then the following weekend hopefully more freedom !!!

I am writing a list of things to do before my foot surgery at the beginning of december - all the baking, parcel packing and preparations I want to have finished, before I can't walk for 3 weeks.

DD is doing uni stuff and DS is actually revising.
DH working as usual.

They are correcting a hallux and and sth the surgeon was a bit excited about called Morbus Köhler. I haven't been able to walk without pain for 2 years now and they want to get it done before it gets more difficult to correct.
This means that I have to do my christmas baking early.

I am off to argos in a little while oh the excitement that were having to go to one slightly further away.

Followed by continuing my house cull.

We've been for a walk and now it's breakfast time. Making chicken curry for lunch and some biscuits. That's about it because it's raining here.

Doing the food shop at the moment. Well queuing outside Tesco.
Then having a bacon baguette before a socially distanced walk with my mum for her birthday.
This afternoon we are putting up the Christmas tree and I’m making a roast.
Then steaming hot shower before wrapping some presents in my PJs watching the crown.

@Prokupatuscrakedatus fingers crossed your surgery goes well! Recovery time's the perfect excuse for enjoying the Christmas baking too!

We're having a moochy day again today. Nothing pressing to be done.

Dd2 wants to use up the last of the loo roll tubes I saved & make a few more glittery snowflakes. We'll bake something for pack-ups too (think she wants to make & ice shortbread).

Dd1 will probably be in her room most of the day, as usual on a weekend.

I want to order a few Christmas presents, tidy up the mess where we took down the damaged hallway ceiling (fixed a leak under the bath that at least 6 plumbers haven't found 🙄), & hopefully start a crochet project I didn't get round to yesterday.

Need to get dressed and tidy up the kitchen first though...

We have different restrictions where I am but I’m shielding so it makes little difference to me I guess!

Quiet day today with the house to myself. I’ve just had breakfast and am enjoying a coffee. Then off for a walk. Coming home to clean the house and organise/order/wrap some presents. Might also get the Christmas china out. It’s way too early but all bets are off this year!

Basically a day of relaxing, looking after myself and getting the house ready for the coming week.

Just enjoying my second coffee. We like a lazy start in our house Grin DH dozing, DC watching television.

I think today’s plan is to go to the allotment because we didn’t manage it yesterday. Also need to get the DC to make birthday cards for MIL which will be like pulling teeth. And get them to do their homework. Ugh.

Still, wine + Strictly later Smile

I plan to leave most of my baking at the office - can you imagine what christmas cookies and not being able to walk for weeks will do to me?

About to tackle the attic, packing up to move in under 2 wks. DH has just taken the kids to mums and I am enjoying tea and crumpets and MN for a little too long before I get on it!

I'm Wales so not in lockdown but son is self isolating for 2 weeks ... so ... nothing!! We spent 12 hours yesterday rebuilding every Lego model he has as he'd taken it all apart and put it in one huge box 😡 (he has a lot of sets). I need to do some work today so I think a TV and chill day for DS!

We got up late so having a bit of breakfast before we go to MILs (92, we are her main carers)

Back after lunch to make brownies and blondies for DDs Birthday tomorrow, she asked for those instead of a cake.

Will do some supervised revision with DS later as mocks start this week.

DH has got next week off so he’s volunteering to do all the boring chores we would normally do on a Sunday Smile

Breakfast then cleaning, change the beds, washing, food shop and meal plan for the week.

We had an adventure last night, we slept in our caravan in our back garden! It was cozy and fun. So need to clean and clear the caravan ready for selling, our last adventure in it.... btw we DO usually go further afield than the back garden in it!!

I start a new job in a week so have a load of prep for that to get sorted.

I’ve got some stuff selling on eBay that ends today so hoping to be parcelling up that lot and posting tomorrow. Part of my big clear out and cull of junk in the house. Plus, it’s Christmas present cash.

Love Sundays Smile

I'm in Wales but even so, not planning much more than going back to bed for an hour, shower, dog walk, binge watching Dr Who and a Chinese takeaway.

Well, in my family 10 different kinds of cookies are a tradition, this year I wanted to bake:
Hildabrötchen, Vanillekipferl, Butterfingers (recipe DH brought back from a worktrip to Edinburgh), Kerntaler Weiße, Schneebällchen, Zimtpfötchen, the rest are simple busicits with chocolate chips, raisins, etc.
No stollen or lebkuchen - not my region

Caravan isn’t getting used and we changed the car to a smaller one so that our dc can drive it when he passes his test.
New car doesn’t have capacity for towing.

Dh is currently trying to cut the back grass for the last time this year in the spitting rain Grin

I'm just getting sorted. Put dishwasher on and loaded W machine. Floors been mopped.

Off to pick up a new phone charger in a bit and then I'm bak in the loft again to continue my mass clear out Shock

I go back to work in 10 days so want to get it finished by next weekend so I can spend the last few days wrapping and tagging the rest of the Xmas stuff because once I'm bak to work I will be flat out till Xmas eve.

Do a dog walk later and seeing in laws for a quick coffee

Today I need to pop to Asda, do some housework and probably take DS to the park. Next weekend DS is at his dad's so I'm going to have a proper lazy weekend, get some snacks and a takeaway and watch movies.

I'm hoping to take DS bowling on the weekend that lockdown ends... IF it ends. Fed up of the park and walks.

Just got back from Tesco. Family have gone out for a couple of hours so I can work, but it is just printing, cutting and laminating so I can do it in front of the TV. This afternoon we are baking then having a family Zoom. I'm looking forward to going to the zoo, out for hot chocolate and cakes and mooching round the shops.
