Life Changing Cleaning - Why Didn't I Know?

I can't believe I didn't know about rubber brooms before now! No word of a lie, it has changed my life - picks up dog fur from the stairs better than any hoover. My carpet is like new. This, after spending £s on Dyson. Anyone else got any brilliant cleaning tips?

When I had a Saturday job in a salon when I was a teen, we always used a rubber broom to sweep the hair up.

Mil gave us one years ago, we’d just bought the same breed of dog as her! Also, wet rubber gloves on stairs and trainers on rugs.

For limescale, get Kilrock, it is amazing!

They're also good if you have people in the house with long hair.

A normal rubber edge shower squeegee works fine on stairs Smile

Are you my DH? He just got one of those, however he doesn’t seem so familiar as you with how to operate it 😂😂. Bloody brilliant for the fur the Labrador is leaving everywhere.

I always read these threads - find things I have never heard of .....and then buy...I am so easily influenced as I now await a bottle of Kilrock.

And a bottle of Kilrock in my basket now.

Half a lemon works well on limescale shower heads too. Soda Crystals and white vinegar to clean drains and that Pink stuff to clean the kitchen sink.

Glass, windows and mirrors - fabric softener in water and smells amazing too - only time I've ever had smear free glass and I've tried nearly everything

If you want to super charge the Aldi Mammia baby wipes, spray a clear perfume onto them before use. It literally takes them to the upper echelons of cleaning hack-ability 🤯

Rubber broom?!?!

Here’s my tip: I use odd socks for dusting

And if you burn boiled potatoes Blush pour milk into the pan. It completely gets rid of that acrid smell / taste
